Relikte aus dem Steinkohlebergbau, wie der ehemalige Cotta-Schacht und der Dippold-Schacht, erinnern an vergangene Zeiten.
Beliebte Sehenswürdigkeiten auf den Ansichten sind das Sanatorium, die evangelische Pfarrkirche und der Hausmannsbrunnen, auch bekannt als Gänselieselbrunnen.
